WHAT IS ?
DEPRISION is a Psychological Survival Horror game that plays with your mind until you can't tell what is real, what is a lie, or what you’re imagining. In a world where timelines have fractured, Alan Carter wakes up with no memory in a crumbling city. Lost and disoriented, he embarks on a desperate search to find his wife Mia and daughter Sarah, all while facing a constant threat: a mysterious entity that controls the flow of time and distorts the reality around him.
GAMEPLAY MECHANICS IN
The flashlight is a vital tool for navigating the world of DEPRISION.
Normal Mode: Illuminates the environment in a standard way, allowing you to see essential objects and details.
Reveal Mode: Unveils hidden objects and details in the environment that are invisible in normal mode. These elements can be critical for solving puzzles or uncovering important secrets.
FLASHLIGHT
REVOLVER
The revolver plays a significant role in both defense and altering the environment.
Interacting with Red Lamps: Shooting the red lamps drastically changes the environment, unlocking new areas and transforming the setting. These changes are often necessary to progress the story or access previously unreachable zones.
Weapon Functionality: The revolver can also be used to defend yourself against the demonic enemies that roam the world.
The camera is essential for progressing through the game.
Activating Final Events: Capture photos of key moments or rituals to trigger essential events and advance to the next level.
Photo Effects: Taking pictures of certain elements causes the environment to shake, signaling that a puzzle or event has been resolved. The area then resets to its normal state, and a door unlocks, allowing you to move forward.
Narrative Development: Each photo reveals more about the story and its characters, uncovering key narrative fragments.

Stealth is a critical part of DEPRISION, as noise can attract demonic enemies.
Attracting Enemies: Any sound you make while moving or interacting with the environment can draw the attention of nearby demons.
